Paula graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) in 2012 and joined Independent OT Medico Legal in 2023 after working over a decade in acute hospital settings. Paula’s clinical background has provided her with a solid understanding of a range of injuries and diagnoses with many years spent working in emergency departments, and acute care.
Paula’s clinical areas of particular interest or expertise include emergency medicine, general medicine, trauma and psychological injury, chronic disease and cognitive impairment.
Paula loves being an OT because we look at people through a unique lens; we understand the bidirectional relationship between conditions/ symptoms and function; and we work with clients to maximise their potential in spite of the challenges they face.
Outside of work Paula loves to exercise, spend time with her young family, renovate (sometimes!!!) and explore Perth’s restaurants, bars and cafes.
